fιrѕт ∂αу of ѕcнooℓ! 💛 Oh man. It’s taken me almost two whole weeks to put these up because of the emotions I’m feeling about it 😅 it was Vita’s LAST first day of school, and I cannot handle it! They’re all at the same school this year, which makes for such a special time. And of course Ellie Jane had to be in on the photos! 😅 Vita will graduate early in December, so to have them all together for his last little bit with us makes me so happy! Charlie struggled quite a bit with our public school and the way they addressed (or lack thereof) him being bullied. He has been beyond happy with his move in with the other kiddos, and that definitely makes it worth it! • I am so proud of every single one of these humans! They are each so unique in their own way, and are enjoying having their own classes and groups of friends this year! My littles are growing so damn fast, right before my eyes, and I simultaneously love it and can’t stand it! Do not ask me how I feel about Vita leaving. I will never be able to guess who it will be the hardest on, but all of us are gonna struggle! I am SOAKING in every last minute we have with him before a plane ride is required for a hug 🥺 and to watch him play! Our whole worlds are about to be flipped upside down again, and I’m not ready for it. So for now, they’re all together. тнιѕ ιѕ ᖇEᗪ ❤️ We added a new member to the family this week, and we’re all a little (lotta) bit in love! I know I know, we’re 8 weeks or less away from a baby, am I crazy? YES! But chaos is chaos. I’ve been wanting and basically begging for this breed for over 3 years, and it’s never seemed like good timing! Between “you just had a baby!” and “you’re about to have a baby!”, it was never gonna “work out”! So when a bestie of ours said her moms neighbor had berner puppies, I had a feeling the search would be over! 😅 We went to visit, @tinytribe_ fell in love right alongside me and there was no more convincing! We LOVED them! • His name: There were 5 male puppies, we were the 4th pick, and one was temperamentally not recommended for a large young family like ours! So I knew by the time we went over Thursday, whoever was left was our match! I laid up the night before searching through names! There were 3 puppies we pretty much knew we’d be between, and one had a taller sock (the white on their paws). We are @redsox fans, so I thought how fun it would be to name him after that if he was our match! We walked in Thursday to find that it was him! We thought about just “Sox”, but then RED just stuck! It also plays into his reddish/rust brown color that he has a lot of! • If you wonder how the kids are doing with him, just keep swiping! Ellie Jane rode with him in her lap for a long while, and was just so content! They’re all asking to hold hold him and be around him, and also wanting to learn the responsibilities of taking care of him!! 🙌🏽 We’re so excited for years to come with this little guy, even thought he won’t be little for long!
